Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.

My Story

I thought I was the picture of health. I was in decent shape and felt fine most days.

Then over a period of two years, peculiar symptoms began. And like most things I don’t understand or don’t want to deal with, I ignored them. But they persisted…an eye inflammation, swollen fingers, back pain, knee pain, numbness and discoloration in my hands, then severe pain in my shoulders and arms. Blood tests showed numerous indicators for inflammation. A doctor suggested my symptoms indicated Lupus and sent me off to a rheumatologist for further assessment.

Lupus? Rheumatoid arthritis? Polymyalgia rheumatica? I was awaiting a diagnosis. But until more in depth tests were conducted, I was prescribed some powerful meds as off-handedly as if they were a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I asked the doctor “Is there something from a nutritional perspective that I can do to turn this around?” I was studying integrative nutrition and I believed in a natural solution to my symptoms. It was so logical to me! I know the food we ingest transforms every cell in our bodies. What we eat becomes our blood, our bones, our organs and our cells. So my question seemed legitimate. “No.” he said. “You could try that, but the pain is coming back. And your symptoms will worsen. I’ve seen it thousands of times.” I knew he had. I had no reason not to believe him.

Except I didn't

I froze in my chair, nodding my head in agreement with him. And I knew I had to start these meds to get through life for the time being. But inside, I was making a pact that I would give my body the cleanest and healthiest, non-inflammatory foods from nature, and I would heal whatever was going bonkers in my system…naturally.

And I did. With the help of a qualified functional medical professional, and plenty of my own research, practices, and clean food recipes, I made huge strides in my health in a few short months. I am now free of all medication and most importantly free from pain. I am fit, strong, healthy and happy!

You can be in excellent health at any age! And I can help you facilitate that journey.
Let's talk today!

IIN Curriculum

Practically everything we know about nutrition is wrong!

Recent studies in holistic health and functional medicine show the mounting evidence that is helping change the lives of people just like you.

You do NOT have to live with chronic skin problems, gut issues or sinus and respiratory health problems.

There are things you can do to change the direction your health is going. Autoimmune diseases are reversible. I’ve done it myself and I can help you navigate this territory too.
