Need a whisk and ground, organic, non-GMO ingredients
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 tsp. ground turmeric powder
1/4 tsp. ground ginger powder
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. coconut oil
Heat coconut milk in small pan (or microwave if necessary for 1 min.)
While heating on stovetop, whisk in heaping 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, ground ginger, cinnamon.
Continue whisking in honey and coconut oil.
Lastly include a dash of freshly cracked pepper.
This warm cup of golden colored milk is beneficial as an anti-inflammatory drink. It can be enjoyed any time of the day. NOTE that turmeric is a strong tasting spice. So if you're not used to it, you may wish to start with a small (maybe 1/8 tsp.) amount at first, and work you way up.
BEWARE that turmeric powder will stain clothing or a porous tabletop, when wet. So, if spilled, wipe up DRY!
Ideally, heat up on stovetop. But if in a rush, you may wish to use microwave. If using microwave, heat milk, then add ingredients to warm milk.
The pepper is added to help the turmeric get absorbed into the body. Turmeric is such that it needs a "kicker".
